This policy explains what personal information Occelatus ("we") collects through occelatus.io, including the Occelatus Automation service at occelatus.io/automate and Quill & Toast at occelatus.io/quill-and-toast, and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Inquiry form: when you submit the form we receive your name, email address, company name, the service you're interested in, and the message you write. Form submissions are delivered to us by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), with FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) as a backup if Web3Forms is unavailable.
• Payments: purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive your name, email, and payment status; we never see or store your full card details.
• Advertising and analytics: our pages use Google's tag (Google Ads) to measure whether visits from our ads lead to an inquiry or purchase. Google may set cookies for this purpose. See how Google uses information.
• Email: if you contact us or we reply to your inquiry, we keep that correspondence. Transactional email is sent through Resend.

Quill & Toast

If you use Quill & Toast, you forward us the inquiry emails your business receives. Those emails can contain your prospective clients' names, contact details, event dates and messages. We use them only to draft a reply for you, which we email back to you; we never contact your clients and never use their information for any other purpose. Drafts are generated by an AI model provided by Anthropic, which processes the inquiry text to write the draft. We also keep the business information you give us (packages, prices, policies, past replies) to write your drafts. When you stop using Quill & Toast, or at any time on request, we delete your business profile and the forwarded inquiries we hold.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your inquiry, deliver services you buy, send related service and billing messages, and measure the performance of our own advertising. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked to receive it. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email at any time.

Google API data

Occelatus uses the Google Ads API only to read reports from and manage its own Google Ads account. Data obtained through Google APIs is used solely for that purpose, is not shared with third parties, and is handled in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Retention and security

We keep inquiry and customer records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete them. Access is limited to the people and systems that run Occelatus.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing research@occelatus.io. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
